Husband Murders Wife at Neighbor's Home in Gyumri

According to Aravot.am, a murder took place today in one of the apartments on Shirakatsi Street in Gyumri. At around 20:10, an emergency call was received by the police regarding a 1956-born woman suffering from severe bodily injuries.

This information was confirmed by Gurgin Grigoryan, the prosecutor of Shirak Region. Preliminary reports indicate that the woman was staying at her neighbor's house when her husband, angered and under the influence of alcohol, went there and got into an argument with her over household issues. He stabbed her in the stomach and chest, causing a penetrating wound to the left side of her chest and a stab wound to the epigastric region. Biological death was registered at the Gyumri medical center.

According to the prosecutor, the murder weapon has been discovered, and a criminal case has been initiated under the first part of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code.
