VIDEO: A Group of Individuals Voluntarily Surrender Firearms and Other Weapons to Police Stations
The "Arsenal-2021" complex preventive measure continues, during which, as a result of explanatory work, a man living in Yerevan voluntarily surrendered a non-factory numbered "Kalashnikov" assault rifle along with 120 rounds of 5.45 mm caliber ammunition to the Kanaker-Zeytun police station. This information was reported by the RA police.
Another incident of voluntarily surrendering a non-factory numbered "Kalashnikov" assault rifle, an "F-1" type grenade, a detonator, and various types of firearms and ammunition was recorded at the Masis police station. The explanatory work of the Jermuk police was also effective; a resident of the city voluntarily surrendered a factory-numbered "Kalashnikov" assault rifle and 7.62 mm caliber ammunition, which he claimed to have brought from Artsakh last year.
As a result of the explanatory work by the police in the Tashir division, a man living in the village of Mikhailovka voluntarily surrendered an assault rifle, grenades, detonators, and more than 120 rounds of various calibers. A man residing in Gyumri also voluntarily surrendered a "TT" pistol due to the explanatory work of the Shirak regional police department and the Mush division.
A resident of the village of Amberd voluntarily surrendered a grenade launcher and 60 rounds for an assault rifle, thanks to the explanatory work of criminal investigative officers from the Vagharshapat division. Following the explanatory work of the Dilijan police, a resident of the city surrendered a "TOZ" shotgun voluntarily. Tests have been assigned.
The police urge anyone possessing illegal weapons and ammunition to voluntarily surrender them to avoid criminal liability.
