Sasoun Mikayelyan's Call

On April 15, under the leadership of the president of the Union of Volunteers of Armenia (YEKM), Sasoun Mikayelyan, a working consultation meeting was held in the Syunik Province Governor's office. Participants included the members of the board, General Martin Karapetyan, the presidents and members of the regional councils of YEKM from Syunik province.

Issues related to the upcoming programs of YEKM, regional security challenges, the issuance of new YEKM certificates, and new memberships were discussed. They presented the certificate intended for members of the 'Young Defender' club, with a formal ceremony planned for its handover in the province.

“I call upon all of you for unity. And remember one thing – a lone Armenian can only defeat another Armenian. However anyone wants to understand it, we must be united. Vazgen Sargsyan used to say a good saying – it's the rust from within that eats us,” said YEKM President Sasoun Mikayelyan.
