VIDEO. Samvel Babayan Removed Soldiers from the Front Line: New Revelation by Movses Hakobyan

Former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Movses Hakobyan, addressed the recent statements made by Samvel Babayan, the former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, regarding Shushi during an appearance on "5th Channel." He specifically mentioned: "Samvel Babayan, who claims that I was against the recruitment process, made another proposal which did not pass in the Artsakh Security Council - it was indeed right that it did not pass. However, I want to say that, in any case, during the war, Samvel Babayan managed to turn his wish into reality and formed such units in the rear, removing several soldiers from the front line."

"If you have an opportunity, ask how many bullets those units fired and where they accomplished their tasks. But I can confirm that they caused significant damage to the front-line units," Hakobyan stated.

In response to a clarifying question about what tasks were carried out by the units formed by Samvel Babayan, Movses Hakobyan replied: "Since I have always been against that unit, I cannot say what tasks were accomplished; they tried to apply them during the operation for Shushi and refused to execute them."
