Major Accident Occurs in Yerevan: Mercedes Crashes into Parked Daf Truck

Today, on April 19th, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 22:30, two vehicles, a Mercedes and a Subaru, collided in front of the "Radisson Blu" hotel on Azatutyan Avenue.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan at the scene, the Mercedes then continued forward and crashed into the rear of a parked Daf truck on the road.

As a result of the accident, two individuals who needed assistance were helped by bystanders and promptly assisted by the firefighters and rescuers of the Yerevan Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They were first provided with emergency care on-site before being transported to the number 1 university hospital by the medics of Yerevan's 1-03 emergency services.
