Details of the Accident Near the Cinema: Drivers' Identities Established
During the preparation of materials by Senior Investigator Hrayr Stepanian of the Road Police's Department for Investigating Road Traffic Accidents, it was revealed that on April 18, in front of the ‘Nairi’ cinema on Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, the identities of those transported to the hospital and the drivers involved in a chain reaction accident have been clarified, reports Shamshyan.com.
It has been established that the Nissan was driven by 25-year-old Davit Khudaverdyan, a resident of the city of Ejmiatsin. The Lexus was driven by 25-year-old Areg Tamazyan, a Yerevan resident, while the Toyota was operated by 50-year-old Vahagn Davtyan, also a resident of Yerevan. The parked Toyota Corolla on the legal side of the road belongs to 66-year-old Samvel Ghasaboghlian, a legendary football player of the ‘Ararat’ football team, and the parked KIA was owned by 22-year-old Gor Simonian, also from Yerevan.
It has also been revealed that as a result of the collision, V. Davtyan, driving the Toyota, hit a pedestrian, 27-year-old Ani Hakobyan, a resident of the Armavir region, who has been transferred to the ‘Armenia’ Medical Center. Meanwhile, the Lexus driver A. Tamazyan and his passenger, 22-year-old Nora Poghosyan from Yerevan, were taken to the ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center.
