Romanos Petrosyan Loses in Court; School Principal to Be Reinstated

The principal of Abovyan's School No. 2, Svetlana Hovhannisyan, who was dismissed by the former governor of Kotayk and now Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan, has won her case against him in court and will soon be reinstated to her position. This was reported by Hraparak.am.

The court ruled that Hovhannisyan's employment rights were violated and that her dismissal was illegal. It’s worth mentioning that after Hovhannisyan’s dismissal, the Kotayk regional administration issued a statement claiming that numerous violations were found during inspections. However, in reality, Romanos Petrosyan and his close supporters were engaged in a campaign to fill schools in the Kotayk region with their own allies, and it turns out they were unsuccessful at School No. 2 in Abovyan.
