New Checkpoints to Open on All Inter-State and Intra-State Roads in Artsakh

New checkpoints will soon be opened on all inter-state and intra-state roads in Artsakh. The information comes from the Police of the Republic of Artsakh.

It is reported that the heads of the checkpoints on the inter-state highway between Shushi and Stepanakert, as well as the Stepanakert-Shosh road segment, were visited by the Chief of the Artsakh Police, Police Colonel Artem Harutyunyan.

“The police chief monitored the service conditions, inquired about issues, and issued a number of recommendations. According to Artem Harutyunyan, it is planned to open new checkpoints on all inter-state and intra-state road segments in the near future, improve socio-economic conditions, and enhance monitoring in the areas that are adjacent to or visible from the Azerbaijani side,” the statement said.

It is reported that the police units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue to carry out round-the-clock duty in an intensified mode on inter-state and inter-regional road segments.
