“People, in those 30 years, you have been in power for 3 years. Those 3 years account for 10 percent of the 30 years. You could have said here that life has improved for people in these, these, these fields by 10 percent. Instead, you have reduced the population of the country by 10 percent, you have destroyed the economy, you have destroyed the army, you have destroyed diplomacy, and now you come and say that they are to blame. If they were not to blame, what are you doing here? Who should have elected you to become an MP, a minister? No matter how much you talk and say they are to blame. Everyone knows they are to blame. But what about you, what about your 10 percent? You govern 10 percent of our lives. You are moderators, not a government. And the best assessment has been given by the first president — a national catastrophe. It’s like you are a necklace to power, power exists, one day it’s there, one day it’s not,” Marukyan declared.
