The government, in its meeting today on April 15, has adopted a decision regarding the proper implementation of events commemorating the 106th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
Accordingly, on April 24, a series of events dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide will be held, which will be broadcast on Armenian public television.
Specifically, on April 23, at 22:30, following the torchlight march, Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem" will be performed at the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial, featuring the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Academic Choir of Armenia, and invited soloists from Armenia and abroad.
On the night of April 23 to 24, at 24:00, W. A. Mozart's "Requiem" will be performed at the Komitas Chamber Music House under the baton of the invited conductor from Germany, Al. Iradyan, with the participation of the Armenian State Chamber Orchestra and the "Hohner" State Chamber Choir.
The commemorative events will conclude on April 24 at 19:15 at the K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, featuring the Armenian National Symphony Orchestra, the Armenian State Chamber Choir, and the Yerevan State Chamber Choir performing T. Mansuryan's "Requiem."
