Weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan Becomes European Champion, Arsen Martirosyan is Runner-Up
Samvel Gasparyan, a member of the Armenian men's weightlifting team, has become the European champion, while Arsen Martirosyan has claimed the title of runner-up.
Gasparyan lifted 176 kg in the snatch, earning a silver medal in the discipline, and then successfully lifted 214 kg in the clean and jerk, securing a small gold medal. Martirosyan won a small bronze with a lift of 209 kg.
