Strong Winds Damage Buildings, Trees, and Billboards in Yerevan

On April 10, from 07:15 to 18:35, the National Crisis Management Center and regional crisis management centers received reports of damage in various areas of Yerevan, including Sarmen, Saralanj, Sose, Nor Aresh, Garegin Nzhdeh, Minsk, Acharian, and Arno Babajanyan streets, as well as in Artashat city of Ararat province, Dimitrov village, Arevadasht village of Armavir province, and Abovyan city of Kotayk province. Damaged items included building roofing sheets, trees, and advertising billboards.

A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' special operations center was dispatched to the scene, along with firefighters from Yerevan and regional rescue departments. The rescuers removed damaged trees from the roadway, carried out dismantling operations, secured the areas, reinforced the roofing sheets of buildings, and maintained a watch on the situation.
