Lars is Open, But There Are Closed Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and to Lake Kari are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open. On the Russian side, there is a backlog of about 420 cargo trucks.
