Bitcoin Exchange Rate Sets Record Exceeding $60,000

The world's largest and most famous cryptocurrency has reached a milestone of $61,222.22, marking its highest performance in about a month. On Sunday, the bitcoin exchange rate dipped slightly and settled at $59,907.

Reuters reports that the bitcoin exchange rate has risen by 116 percent compared to the year's lowest point of $27,734 recorded on January 4. On March 13, it first crossed the $60,000 threshold, reaching a record high of $61,781.83 on the Bitstamp exchange immediately after U.S. President Joe Biden signed his $1.9 trillion tax stimulus package.
