Zohrapyan: I Did Not Allow Myself to Publicize Unverified Information Widely

We all had information from various sources that 20-22 prisoners of war were to return in the coming days, but I did not allow myself to widely publicize my knowledge, which had not yet been confirmed, as my colleagues from the ruling party did. This was stated by BHK MP Naira Zohrapyan during a press briefing with journalists.

“What’s horrifying is that I know some parents were told to be at the airport, and the parents came with clothing and sweets, while the plane arrives empty. Do you want to convince me that no one knew that the arrangement would be violated? This is a long issue to analyze as to why the prisoners did not return. I believe that if the state is respected, they should at least have said, ‘Do not fly, problems have arisen,’ but the plane arrives empty,” said Zohrapyan.

The MP emphasized that this is yet another proof that a defeated leader cannot solve problems and overcome the consequences of war. According to Naira Zohrapyan, various MPs, including the female Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, talk about humanitarian issues while at the same time, a military-industrial plant in Baku is producing drones under the name ‘The Killing of a Dog.’

The BHK MP addressed Vice Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, asking, “Did you know that the plane going to Baku was going to return empty? If you didn’t know, then what are you doing in your position? By default, you should have been aware of all this. If you didn’t know, you should immediately submit your resignation and leave.”
