Putin and Erdoğan Discuss Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Resolution During Phone Call
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, held a phone conversation with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during which, among other issues, they addressed the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was reported by the Kremlin’s press service.
“Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highly appreciated Russia’s efforts to ensure further stabilization of the situation and the continuous implementation of the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021. Vladimir Putin informed the Turkish President about the results of his recent contacts with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Both leaders expressed the need to accelerate the restoration of transportation infrastructure in the South Caucasus,” the statement from the Kremlin noted.
