Car Rolls Down Ravine Near Malishka Village: Injuries Reported
On April 9, at 09:16, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received information about a traffic accident near the village of Malishka, where a car had rolled down a ravine, resulting in injuries.
A team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a "VAZ 21014" model vehicle (driver A.M., born in 1989) had veered off the roadway of the Yerevan-Meghri M-2 highway at the 128th km and rolled approximately 25 meters down a ravine.
Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and passenger V.K. (born in 1980) were pulled from the vehicle by local individuals and were subsequently hospitalized at the Yeghvard Medical Center, where doctors evaluated their condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers also stabilized and disconnected the power from the vehicle, as well as shut off the gas cylinder valve.
