A Parent Brought a Gasoline Bottle and Spilled It at the Entrance: What's Happening at the Ministry of Defense

There is a tense situation outside the Ministry of Defense building that shows no signs of abating. It should be noted that the relatives of missing servicemen have been here since yesterday, and today they were joined by the relatives of prisoners of war, who had hoped yesterday that their sons would return, only to find out that no prisoners have returned from Azerbaijan.

At one point, the parents of the servicemen began to pull at the gates of the Ministry, leading to a brief scuffle with the arriving police. One of the parents had earlier brought a bottle of gasoline and spilled it at the entrance, which was quickly cleaned up. In the midst of the tense situation, parents were heard saying, ‘Bring more gasoline bottles to pour.’

Present at the scene were MPs Sofia Hovsepyan and Narek Mkrtchyan from the 'My Step' faction, who told the gathered crowd that the Ministry of Defense was offering to meet with the parents in a nearby hall. However, the parents rejected this offer, demanding that either the Minister or the Chief of General Staff come down to meet everyone directly.

The head of the Police of Armenia, Vahe Ghazaryan, also arrived, speaking with the parents of the missing soldiers for about 10 minutes before entering the ministry building. Currently, a consultation is ongoing inside the ministry. It is worth mentioning that a drone from the Ministry of Defense is capturing the entire situation from above.
