No New Document Discussed During Pashinyan-Putin Meeting, Mane Gevorgyan
The Prime Minister's press secretary assures that aside from the trilateral documents signed on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, no other document was discussed during the Pashinyan-Putin meeting held yesterday.
It is noteworthy that after his meeting with Russian President V. Putin, Nikol Pashinyan met with dozens of members of the "Association of Armenian Jurists," where he stated, "We did not sign any document, but we talked about a number of documents, including those related to security and the implementation of previously signed documents."
Attempts by "Factinfo" to clarify which new document is being referenced, and whether any other document is being developed aside from the known trilateral two statements to the public, led to Mane Gevorgyan's response: "We are talking about the trilateral statements of November 9 and January 11; there was no discussion of anything else. The Prime Minister noted in his remarks that there is no new document, and there has not even been any discussion about it."
"Factinfo" also sought a comment from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which declined to provide any remarks. "Since this concerns the Prime Minister's visit and the agenda items he raised, we would ask you to refer that question to the Prime Minister's relevant office," said MFA spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan during our conversation.
