I Curse the Enemy, Let Them Dare to Cause Provocation in the Village, They Will See: Shurnukh Village Head

Since the signing of the trilateral statement on November 9, when all advantageous positions in the Syunik region were gradually surrendered to the enemy, residents of Syunik have found themselves directly in the enemy's crosshairs.

Despite the fact that there is no point regarding the borders of Armenia in the trilateral statement of November 9, with the silent consent of the Armenian authorities, the enemy found itself in Syunik and occupied all the favorable positions. As a result of this, today, the residents of Syunik are unable to move freely; whenever they travel from any village to the regional center, the enemy provocatively threatens them. The latest incident occurred on the Shurnukh-Davith Bek road when Azerbaijani soldiers threw stones at an Armenian vehicle. The driver did not stop and quickly left the road.

In an interview with 168.am, the head of the Davith Bek community, Benjamin Poghosyan, stated that after this incident, no similar events had taken place in the community. "There have been no such incidents in the administrative area of Davith Bek. At the moment, we are sowing our fields along the border; in any case, security must be ensured. Although there are peacekeepers standing there, it is still dangerous, it is not safe, it is dangerous," concluded Benjamin Poghosyan.

The head of the Shurnukh community, Hakob Arshakyan, also mentioned that no such incident has been repeated specifically in the Shurnukh area. "Regarding the last incident, the head of the Kapan community has already provided information; something like that has happened. I curse the enemy, let them dare to cause provocation in the village, they will see. Who are these? They are cowards; if two children run screaming, they will be scared and run away, I assure you. They are like lambs standing there; they are Azerbaijani border guards, frozen in their place. The only problem is that they are here next to our children, our children see them," noted Hakob Arshakyan.
