Car and Freight Train Collide in Dimitrov Village of Ararat Province, Resulting in Fatality

On April 8, at 01:22, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a call regarding a traffic accident on the Dimitrov-Mkhchyan highway, where a car collided with a freight train.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that near the Dimitrov village crossing, the train collided with a "Daewoo Nexia" car (driver: N.H., born in 1986) and continued to move approximately 600 meters ahead. The driver of the car died at the scene.

Rescue workers used special equipment to extract the driver's body and brought it to the ambulance.
