Anti-Tank Shells and Mines Discovered Near Kapan-Goris Highway

On April 8, at 17:16, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report that a shell was discovered near the 43rd km of the Kapan-Goris highway, in an area between fields, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

A combat unit was dispatched from the Shurnukh outpost of the regional rescue department. During the site inspection, anti-tank shells, landmines, and remnants of similar munitions were found.

The rescuers secured the area and handed it over to the relevant service personnel.
