Pashinyan Meets with the Armenian Community in Russia: Entry by List, Questions Pre-Prepared

Today, a meeting between Prime Minister Pashinyan and representatives of the Armenian community is scheduled to take place at the Ararat-Hayat hotel in Moscow. This information was reported in an article on yerkirmedia.am.

The website states that, according to preliminary information, many prominent figures from the Russian-Armenian community, especially businessmen, have declined the invitation to attend the meeting.

Shahen Petrosyan, the president of the Armenian Lawyers' Association, had initially agreed to attend and was attempting to gather participants, but later informed that he would not be coming.

Questions directed at Pashinyan were prepared in advance and distributed to each participant, with one sample question having found its way into the hands of our colleague.

Currently, there are also some compatriots at the hotel who, in an interview with a correspondent from 'Today’s Country', stated that they came to ask Pashinyan questions. However, they have been deprived of this opportunity as entry is only permitted for those on a pre-approved list.

One individual was recently invited outside by hotel security to check their documents and has since been taken to a police station.

There is a significant presence of both Armenian and Russian security personnel at the hotel right now. We will provide more details as they emerge.

It is worth noting that security staff recently asked our correspondent to leave the hotel lobby.
