Even Criminal Elements and Rejected Subculture Carriers Are Being Tried to Involve in the Electoral Process. 'Joghavourd'

'Joghavourd' newspaper reports: 'In the upcoming probable elections on June 20, both the opposition and the authorities share similar views regarding the electoral base in the capital. Both sides believe that the list led by Nikol Pashinyan will receive few votes in Yerevan, where there is significant opposition.

Consequently, the authorities are seeking popular Yerevan residents to garner votes with their participation. They are even trying to involve criminal elements and carriers of rejected subcultures in the electoral process.

According to the 'Joghavourd' newspaper, the authorities have already lost hope in Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan; even his own staff holds opposing views towards him. It is worth mentioning that for a considerable time, Nikol Pashinyan's government has been dissatisfied with the mayor, who does not respond to any phone calls from the team. The Prime Minister's ultimate goal is to rid himself of Hayk Marutyan.'
