Why Did Onik Gasparyan Travel to Moscow and Who Returned With Him to Armenia

There have been reports in the press that former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has arrived in Armenia from Moscow once again. It was also mentioned that he arrived at the VIP hall, where he was supposedly welcomed by several former and current officials, including generals in luxury cars. Additionally, it was reported that Armenia's Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan and former Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan were also present in the VIP lounge of the airport.

However, credible sources from 168.am have revealed that Karen Karapetyan frequently visits Armenia, and they were surprised by the hype surrounding this particular visit. Moreover, it was natural that neither the Foreign Minister nor the former Chief of Staff would have gone to welcome him. They simply returned from Moscow on the same flight as Karen Karapetyan, Ara Aivazyan, and Onik Gasparyan.

On April 1, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan had traveled to Moscow to participate in a meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers' Council, during which he also met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
