The Current Authorities Have Undermined the Rule of Law in the Country: Arman Babajanian

Independent MP Arman Babajanian wrote on his Facebook page: “The current authorities have undermined the rule of law in the country. For this major failure, several responsible individuals in the sector should have already been relieved of their positions. In the new political environment that will be formed after the upcoming elections, it will only be possible to fundamentally begin a large package of reforms aimed at revitalizing the judicial, prosecutorial, National Security Service, investigative bodies, and police.

The current judicial and law enforcement agencies pose a threat to national security and vitality. Those responsible for the crimes of March 1 will face justice. Do not doubt that. The opponents and enemies of the Armenian state will receive their deserved punishment. It cannot go unpunished when 10 peaceful protesters are killed through the collusion of the military, security forces, and oligarchy, to fraudulently hold elections and maintain power through violence. You cannot erase the article of criminal collusion, and the horrific events that took place cannot be erased from our memory.”
