Azerbaijani Soldiers Throw Stones at Armenian Vehicle on Kapan-Yerevan Road, Says Kapan Mayor
On the Kapan-Yerevan road, below Goris, Azerbaijani soldiers have thrown stones towards a vehicle belonging to an Armenian. This was reported in an interview with Auroranews by Kapan Mayor Gevorg Parsyan.
According to Parsyan, the incident occurred while the vehicle was traveling from Kapan to Yerevan. “The incident took place in the section of the Davit Bek-Shurnukh road. It is in an area under the control of Russian border guards. From the fortified area, Azerbaijanis threw stones in the direction of the road and hit the vehicle,” said the mayor.
The Kapan mayor noted that the stone did not hit the vehicle, it was not damaged, and there were no injured citizens; however, the passengers were frightened.
When asked how often such incidents occur, he mentioned that this was the first time.
