100 Trees Planted in Memory of Victims of the Great Patriotic War: Yerevan Joins the 'Memorial Park' Action

Today, 100 cedar and ash trees were planted at the Victory Park in Yerevan as part of the 'Memorial Park' initiative, commemorating the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
This action began on March 18 in southern Russia and became an international effort by March 28. Kyrgyzstan has joined the initiative, passing the baton to Armenia.
During the event, Sergey Kopyrkin, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, stated that the heroism of Armenians during the Great Patriotic War should help the Armenian people overcome their current challenges.
