VIDEO: "Now there is a good chance that there will be no enmity with Turkey and Azerbaijan" - Lena Nazaryan's scandalous interview

“Perhaps now there is a good chance that there will be no enmity with Turkey,” said the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Lena Nazaryan in an interview with Aravot. Nazaryan poses the question, “What is preventing us from being constructive?”

Perhaps it is the fact that the enemy has kept hundreds of our soldiers in captivity for over six months and states that they will be tried as 'war criminals'; or perhaps it is the unquenched blood of over 5,000 fallen soldiers, the 11,000 wounded, and more than 3,000 missing. “It is the occupation of 80% of Artsakh and the heights of Syunik that 'hinders' us. Or perhaps it is the enemy's plans to seize Syunik and Yerevan that are a hindrance,” she added.

But what was preventing Lena Nazaryan and her political team before the war and the casualties from not 'seeking an enemy' and being 'constructive', rather than declaring that 'Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it', escalating the situation, or sending thousands of boys to the battlefield under the drones' fire to perish in October, when the outcome of the war was already clear?
