There Is No Intent to Hand Over Red Market to Azerbaijan, Says David Babayan

There is no intention and cannot be any intention to hand over the Red Market to Azerbaijan, said David Babayan, the Foreign Minister of Artsakh, during a conversation with journalists.

“No one has changed the status of the Red Market. The Red Market is Armenian and is located within the territory of the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh; therefore, there is no purpose in changing its status or handing it over to Azerbaijan, and there cannot be such a purpose. Let this be clear to everyone,” the minister noted.

He also emphasized that they will do everything possible to preserve what they have.
