Sanctions Imposed on Kocharyan's Defenders and Prosecutors by Anna Danibekyan
During today’s court session in the case of second President Robert Kocharyan and others, the court deemed the behavior of the defense lawyers and the prosecuting attorneys inappropriate. According to aysor.am, the court decided to impose a sanction, a reprimand, on Robert Kocharyan's defenders Hayk Alumyanz, Hovhannes Khudoyan, and Aram Vardevanyan.
A reprimand was also imposed on prosecutors Gevorg Baghdasaryan and Petros Petrosyan.
It is noteworthy that during the court session on March 23, Kocharyan's defense lawyers Hayk Alumyanz, Hovhannes Khudoyan, and Aram Vardevanyan left the courtroom without the court's permission before the session ended. Meanwhile, prosecutors Gevorg Baghdasaryan and Petros Petrosyan were absent during the court session on March 30.
