Saakashvili Calls Pozner a 'KGB Old Agent' Released by Putin
The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has labeled Russian television host Vladimir Pozner as the country's enemy and a 'KGB old agent.' Saakashvili made this statement in a video address on Facebook, as reported by Georgia Online.
“Pozner is an old KGB agent brought out by Putin in 2008. He is an indescribable enemy of Georgia,” Saakashvili declared.
Commenting on Pozner's visit to Tbilisi and the subsequent protests against the television host, Saakashvili stated that “a guest should be treated as a guest, and an enemy as an enemy.” According to the politician, he felt proud of the response from the Georgian youth who opposed Pozner's visit.
