Russian Sappers Clear Over 1,800 Hectares of Land in Artsakh
Specialists from the International Anti-Mine Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense continue clearing the territory of Artsakh from mines. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Since November 23, 2020, the engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces have cleared more than 1,873 hectares of land, over 575 kilometers of roads, and 1,658 buildings. A total of 25,379 explosive objects have been identified and neutralized.
During the demining and clearing operations in Artsakh, Russian peacekeepers utilize modern robotic technological complexes that allow for maintaining a high pace of demining in mountainous terrain. The explosive objects are destroyed at the “Balijha” shooting range.
