Russia's Entry Program 'Traveling Without COVID-19' Becomes Indefinite, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Comments on Decision

The Russian government has decided to make the 'Traveling Without COVID-19' program indefinite for entry into Russia. According to Armenpress, this decision was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, in response to a request from Armenpress, regarded the application as an effective and promising tool that facilitates and allows the movement of residents between Armenia and Russia.

Kyrgyzstan has also been added to the list of countries whose citizens can travel to Russia under this program. The list of participating countries also includes Russia, Armenia, and Belarus.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told reporters that the application has proven to be an effective tool that facilitates the movement of residents from EAEU member countries while ensuring all necessary conditions.

The 'Traveling Without COVID-19' mobile application was created during the pandemic for the free and safe movement of citizens from EAEU member countries within the integration framework. It has been operational since February 1.

The program allows users to receive their Covid-19 test results in the app as a QR code. Citizens wishing to travel to EAEU countries included in the program must download the mobile application on iOS or Android, approach certified laboratories for PCR testing with their passports, and submit a Covid-19 test.

Once the laboratory enters the results into the system, the test result will immediately be reflected in the application. A positive result will show a red QR code, while a negative result will show a green one. When crossing the border, it is necessary to present the QR code from the mobile app.
