1116 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia

As of April 2, 1116 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 194,852. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 19 citizens have died from COVID-19 in the past day, raising the total death toll to 3552.

Furthermore, there have been 4 deaths registered among patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses in one day. As of April 2, the total number of such deaths is 904. Overall, 23 people have died in one day, with the total number of deaths now reaching 4456.

In terms of recoveries, 864 individuals have recovered in one day, with the total number of recoveries amounting to 174,545. Currently, there are 15,851 patients undergoing treatment, with an increase of 229 individuals in one day. A total of 4830 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, and so far, 864,876 tests have been carried out overall.
