Video: Georgians Throw Eggs at Hotel Where Vladimir Pozner is Staying, Clashes Occur

In Tbilisi, clashes broke out between police and participants of a protest in front of the hotel where the famous journalist Vladimir Pozner arrived from Moscow. In a video that circulated online, protesters were seen throwing eggs at the hotel.

According to media reports, demonstrators are demanding that authorities expel Pozner from Georgia. They also succeeded in cutting off the power supply to the hotel building.

Pozner has stated that he is currently at the hotel, and his safety is being ensured by the police. He came to Tbilisi to celebrate his birthday on April 3 but will have to return to Moscow sooner than planned.
