Unified Social Service Launches Today

From now on, citizens can access social security services, employment, medical and social expertise, and social assistance through a one-stop-shop principle. Starting today, April 1, the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is operational.

The launch of the new structure took place in Tavush, where Minister Mesrop Arakelyan announced the activation of the system at the Dilijan Territorial Center, noting that it will make sector operations more targeted and systematic, improving the quality of social services. “Aside from territorial unity, we also emphasize the unified assessment of the needs of individuals with various social issues and the delivery of more targeted services. This process will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of social work and increased efficiency. This is merely the beginning of the reform, as there is enormous and ongoing work in this area,” the minister stated.
