EAEU Member States Can Travel to Russia Indefinitely Without Covid-19 App

Citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) can now enter Russia not only from Armenia and Belarus but also from Kyrgyzstan through an application. The "Travel Without Covid-19" app for citizens of EAEU member states has now become non-mandatory, allowing them to enter Russia without this application. This was announced following an order signed by the Government of the Russian Federation, as reported by Interfax.

The document has been published on the official internet portal of legal information. It is worth noting that the "Travel Without Covid-19" program allowed citizens to have the results of their submitted Covid-19 tests in the mobile app in the form of a QR code and present it upon crossing the border. This initiative was established by the Eurasian Development Bank's foundation for digital initiatives, led by former Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
