Turkey Expresses Condolences to Azerbaijan Over 'Genocide by Armenians'
Amid statements from various officials in Armenia regarding the normalization of relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, Turkey has sent a condolence message to Azerbaijan in connection with the 'genocide by Armenians in 1918,' reports Ermenihaber.
In a statement published on the official Twitter account of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, it is noted: 'We commemorate the memory of our Azerbaijani Turkish brothers who were subjected to genocide by Armenian bands 103 years ago in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba, Mughan, and Lankaran; we share the pain of our Azerbaijani Turkish brothers.'
