New Faces May Be Included in the Civil Contract Party List, Says Simonian

The Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonian, does not rule out the possibility that new individuals could be included in the list of the Civil Contract Party for the upcoming elections. Simonian made this statement during a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly.

"All pre-election work is being carried out, both in Yerevan and in the provinces; we have started our activities," Simonian said.

He deemed further collaboration with the deputies who have left the "My Step" faction impossible. "As for the others, I can say that most of our colleagues will likely continue their work. Some may continue in the executive branch. But our team, which remained united after these shocks, will continue to work together," said Simonian.

When asked who will be on the list, he mentioned that he cannot specify any names. "But I also do not exclude that new individuals may appear on our list," Simonian noted.

To the question of whether they will form a coalition for the elections, Simonian stated that he believes it is correct to go under the name of the Civil Contract Party.
