I Will Decide Whether I Want to Become a Deputy in This Disgusting, Anti-Turkish Environment
I would get just as many votes no matter which party I submitted my candidacy with. This was stated today, on March 31, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly by MP Taguhi Tovmasyan, responding to accusations from representatives of the ruling party that the deputies who left "My Step" received their votes as candidates from "My Step."
“But I would not run with any party because I have never intended to engage in politics. I have wanted to do something good for my country with revolutionary enthusiasm. I am still receiving offers from various parties to run with them, but I will decide whether I want to become a deputy. They can relax. I will decide whether I want to be a deputy in this disgusting, anti-Turkish environment where people question the recognition of the Genocide and doubt our homeland's borders. Is Karvachar Armenian or not?” she stated.
