Edgar Chagharyan Submits Resignation

Edgar Chagharyan, a member of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition, submitted his resignation today, March 31.

According to the statement from the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, "In accordance with Part 1 of Article 147 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, Edgar Chagharyan submitted his resignation on March 31."

It should be noted that Edgar Chagharyan was elected to this position on June 28, 2020, through a closed secret ballot by the National Assembly, with his candidacy proposed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
