Besides This Pro-Turkish Mass, A Powerful Nation Lives in Armenia: Sophia Hovsepyan

Wise people must unite, outside of all political forces. There is no need to create a political force; instead, we must show that besides this pro-Turkish, nomadic mass, a powerful nation lives in Armenia. This was stated by parliament member Sophia Hovsepyan on her Facebook page.

"Karvachar was not ours... the world will quickly say, 'give it back'... The world did not recognize Van as ours, nor Karin and Mush, nor Shushi and Hadrut, because you do not acknowledge us, to hold with your teeth... When many tribes and tribal unions had not yet formed, we had a state, we had a leader, we had a homeland from sea to sea... we lost it because many did not prioritize having statehood, the importance of facts, as they were still living in a nomadic mentality...

Centuries have passed, we became a state again 30 years ago, and an independent state at that, but still many live with this nomadic mindset... Nomadic... Where there is bread, there is shelter... Wise people must unite, outside of all political forces, there’s no need to create a political force, but rather show that besides this pro-Turkish, nomadic mass, a powerful nation lives in Armenia...

I have never felt so helpless, but I understand that I have no right to feel this way... We need to awaken from this slumber; we are on the brink of destruction... Do you know what is terrifying? That the ears of those who do not read, who only think about daily bread, are filled with lies and deceit, and tomorrow they will choose our right to live in our country... I do not agree with this situation and will not adapt, even at the cost of my life... Wake up, oh..." Hovsepyan wrote.
