Murder of 26-Year-Old in Gyumri Solved; Suspect is High School Student from Yerevan
On March 29, the officers of the Shirak regional police department conducted necessary operational and investigative actions, revealing the identity of the perpetrator responsible for the murder of 26-year-old Gevorg Dadrapyan, which occurred on March 27 in Gyumri at building 135 on Yerevanian highway. As a result of the explanatory work carried out by the police and investigators, a 17-year-old resident of Yerevan, identified as David V., voluntarily came to the Gumry Police Department and confessed to committing the murder with a knife he had in his possession.
Through further explanatory work by the Shirak region police, David V. also presented the knife used in the crime. Sources indicate that he is a student in the 11th grade at one of Yerevan's high schools, and the motive for the crime was their correspondence on the internet.
