Foreign Minister Holds Phone Conversation with Andorran Counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Ayvazyan had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra, Maria Ubach Font. The interlocutors touched upon several issues on the bilateral agenda, emphasizing their readiness to take steps towards deepening and expanding cooperation in mutually interesting areas.

As primary directions for cooperation, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Andorra identified specific sectors of agriculture and tourism, highlighting the importance of implementing programs for the exchange of experience in these fields.

Both sides highly valued the cooperation within international platforms, particularly within the framework of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

During the phone conversation, opinions were also exchanged regarding urgent regional and international issues. In this context, Minister Ayvazyan comprehensively presented to his Andorran counterpart the steps being taken to address the humanitarian situation in Artsakh as a result of Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression.
