Azerbaijani Stone-Throwing at Vehicles Cannot Go Unanswered: Artsakh Parliament President

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Artur Tovmasyan, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh and met with Foreign Minister Davit Babayan. This information was reported by the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh.

Discussions were held regarding the priorities of the country’s foreign policy. Artur Tovmasyan referred to his meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan, stating that the main theses expressed during their discussion are consistent with new realities.

“Today, the security of Artsakh is the number one issue. The recent so-called activity displayed by Azerbaijan cannot go unanswered. We are talking about incidents of stone-throwing at Armenian vehicles,” said Artur Tovmasyan.

There was also a discussion on the necessity of raising this and other agenda-related issues in international forums. The National Assembly President underscored the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group in the resolution process of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict and noted the significance of further developing and deepening relations with various countries, particularly the Russian Federation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy as a key component of foreign policy. “We must utilize all internal resources, create a strong support base to be powerful on the external front,” stressed the Foreign Minister.

The parties agreed to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
