Ararat Mirzoyan Awards Valentina Matviyenko with RA NA Honorary Medal

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has awarded Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with the Honorary Medal of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. This decision has been signed by Mirzoyan.

According to the decision, "Based on Article 5, Part 2, Item 22 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly and the Appendix to the December 27, 2017 decision of the Council of the National Assembly of Armenia on the procedures and descriptions of awards of the National Assembly and its President, I hereby decree:

1. To award Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with the Honorary Medal of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for her significant contribution to the promotion of universal values, the protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as the strengthening of inter-parliamentary friendly relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation."
