An Offensive Expression in Turkish and Azerbaijani: 'Ermeni/Erməni Dığası Bırç' or 'Hay's Boy' - Expert
Iranian scholar Vardan Voskanian wrote on his Facebook page: “I wonder if those who ‘correct approaches’ know that in Turkish and Azerbaijani there is such an offensive expression: ermeni/erməni dığası bütç: ‘hay's boy’ (dığa means ‘boy’ in Armenian), which is used in the same sense as the Armenian expression ‘turki lamuk’.”
