The war was also a failure of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. This was stated by Armenia's Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan during a meeting of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

“The war proved that it was also a failure of the activities of the Minsk Group co-chairs. They were not only supposed to create a favorable atmosphere for the resolution of the issue through negotiations but also to exclude a military solution. September 27 showed that they failed in their mandate,” said the Foreign Minister.

According to Ayvazyan, Armenia is interested in resuming negotiations under the auspices of the Minsk Group co-chairs. “However, we need a strong co-chairmanship that will not only record the current situation but will also lead the process,” emphasized the minister.
