The Karmir Shuka community is located in the southeastern part of the Republic of Artsakh.
According to the community head, part of the population is engaged in agriculture, farming, and animal husbandry, with 2-3 large farmers in the area. There are production facilities for oil, wine, woodworking, and other products.
With funds from the Artsakh Investment Fund, multi-apartment buildings are being constructed in Karmir Shuka, as reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Artsakh.
Many families from surrounding villages have expressed a desire to relocate to Karmir Shuka because, in addition to job opportunities, there is a kindergarten and a newly built school.
The community has suffered damages to many infrastructure components due to the war. 15 houses have been completely destroyed, of which 10 cannot be repaired. The roofs of 43 houses have been replaced, and plastic windows have been installed in 65 houses.
It is planned to build 150 houses in the village.
